What Campers Say

“Best week of my life. The instructors at Dakhla were incredible — I went from never having touched a kite to riding upwind in just 5 days. The camp setup was perfect.”

“As a complete beginner I was nervous, but the team in Tamraght made me feel at ease. By day 3 I was surfing solo. The food, accommodation, and sunsets were all incredible!”

Frequently Asked Questions

Which of your four locations should I choose?
Taghazout for real point breaks and a lively surf town. Tamraght for a gentle first week on sandy beach breaks. Essaouira if you want a UNESCO medina alongside the water, or if you want to kite. Dakhla if you want the flattest water in the world and nothing else to distract you. Tell us your level and what you want out of the week and we will say which one honestly fits.
Do you teach both surfing and kitesurfing?
Yes, but not everywhere. Surfing runs in Taghazout, Tamraght and Essaouira. Kitesurfing runs in Essaouira and Dakhla. Essaouira is the only place we teach both, which makes it the one location where you can genuinely split a trip between the two.
When is the best time of year to come to Morocco?
It depends on the sport more than the month. Surfing is at its best from September to April, when the Atlantic swell is most consistent. Kitesurfing runs from roughly April to October in Essaouira and March to November in Dakhla. There is no dead month on this coast — there is only a wrong month for the wrong sport.
I have never done either sport. Where should I start?
Tamraght for surfing and Dakhla for kitesurfing. Both are chosen for the same reason: the water forgives mistakes. Tamraght breaks over sand rather than rock, and the Dakhla lagoon is shallow enough to stand in across most of the learning area.
How do I book, and what do I pay up front?
Pick your product, choose your format and duration in the booking box, then message us on WhatsApp — the message arrives with your selection already in it. A 30% deposit confirms the booking, and cancellation is free up to 14 days before you start.
Can I come alone?
Most of our guests do. A camp is the easiest way to travel alone here because you arrive into a group on day one rather than working out a village by yourself. Prices are per person and sharing accommodation is the normal, cheaper option.
What makes Morocco worth the flight?
A long season, water you can surf in a thin wetsuit year-round, Atlantic swell and trade wind on the same coastline, and prices well below the European equivalents. It is close enough to Europe for a week to be worth it and different enough to feel like a real trip.
Which airport do I fly into?
Agadir Al Massira (AGA) for Taghazout and Tamraght, about 20 to 30 minutes away. Essaouira Mogador (ESU) for Essaouira, or Marrakech (RAK) with a two-and-a-half hour road transfer. Dakhla (VIL) has no direct flights from Europe and connects through Casablanca, Agadir or Marrakech.
